Ephedra Free

Friday, September 25th, 2009

Xenadrine Ephedrine Free or Ephedra Free is a thermogenic fat burner and lipolysis stimulator, which has been proven to help break down fat. Taking a weight loss supplement can be quite effective if you get the right one for your body type and for the correct reason. Maybe you are trying to eat less, so all you need is an appetite suppressant. Some people are extremely overweight and need a potent fat burner to help burn and get rid of that extra fat. For some people it is a matter of needing more energy to get them motivated to begin exercising.

What I’ve noticed with myself and with some of my friends is that we give up on the weight loss supplements after a few weeks. It’s hard to stick with something when you don’t see immediate results. When deciding on a weight loss pill you should set some goals on what it is you are trying to accomplish. Is it just that you want to lose 5 to 10 pounds or do you want to lose 50 pounds. If you add some exercise and a healthy diet you will definitely be more successful at losing the weight.

Fat Burners

Saturday, September 19th, 2009

Fat burners are used to help raise your metabolism so you can burn fat faster. Fat burners are basically supplements which carry certain herbal ingredients like Ephedra, HCA, Chitosan and Pyruvate, to raise your metabolism and suppress your appetite. There are so many fat burning supplements on the market that it is difficult to know which one works best. Basically though, if you go on line and do a search for fat burners, you can check out different websites that give consumer reviews and ratings.

Some of the top fat burners that I have seen out there are Lipovox, Ephedrasil Hardcore, TestoRipped, Xyphedra, Nutrex Lipo 6, and Avant Labs Sesathin. There are side effects to the different fat burning supplements so it’s a good idea to do your research. Talk to people that have been on fat burners and ask important questions, like what are the known side effects, what are the ingredients, safety ratings, etc.

Antioxidants & Weight Loss

Saturday, September 19th, 2009

I came across some great information in an article online called Omega-3 Fatty Acids and Antioxidants in Edible Wild. It talked about how edible plants can give us more alpha-linolenic acid (ALA) and larger amounts of vitamin E and vitamin C than what is provided in cultivated plants. I recenetly learned that Omega-3 fatty acids are considered to be of the essential fatty acid variety. They are very important to our health and cannot be created by the body.

Because of this, omega-3 fatty acids need be obtained from food. Omega-3 fatty acids can be found in fish, such as salmon, tuna, and halibut. It can also be found in algae and krill, some plants, and nut oils. omega-3 fatty acids are also called polyunsaturated fatty acids which helps with brain function as well as normal growth and development. I had the opportunity to go on a salmon fishing trip up in Alaska last year and we were successful in catching some great salmon. When I got home, I froze the fish, which keeps quite nicely if you package it in bags that won’t allow freezer burn. All I need to do is take out a little bit and cook it up whenever I want. It’s a great way to get those Omega 3′s.

Possible Side Effects of Xenadrine

Sunday, September 13th, 2009

Xenadrine is an herbal dietary supplement that is being used as a weight loss supplement. The reported side effects of Xenadrine have included tremor, headache, trouble sleeping, nausea, vomiting, fatigue, and dizziness. These side effects could be a result of the two main ingredients, Ma Huang and guarana, which have also been associated with serious side effects like heart problems, irregular heartbeats, stroke, seizures, and even death.

The researchers say that these side effects can be more likely with higher doses or prolonged use. It is recommended that you don’t take more than six capsules per day and that you don’t use this product for more than 12 weeks. Xenadrine is not recommended for people under 18 years of age. If you are taking a product that contains caffeine, as is usually common in weight loss supplements, you should make sure you are taking the supplements before 3pm because they can cause sleeplessness, which makes it difficult to go to sleep at night. Also, you should be drinking a lot of water and eating a healthy diet. If you want to lose weight even faster it makes sense that you add some type of exercise to your daily routine. Cardio based exercises are a great way to burn calories and strengthen your heart.

Acai Berry

Wednesday, September 9th, 2009

The acai berry is an inch-long reddish, purple fruit. It comes from the acai palm tree which is native to Central and South America. The Acai berry is a relative of the cranberry, blueberry, and other dark purple fruits. People are eating the acai berry for all different reasons. For example, I’ve heard that acai berry can help you lose weight. The berry is high in antioxidants which is why it is great dropping those unwanted pounds. in fact, I just recently read that the acai berry has more antioxidants than red wine, blueberries, or pomegranates.

Not only that but it contains levels of Vitamins B, C, D, and E, making it a very healthy fruit .The juicy pulp that surrounds the Acai Berry is said that it may be one of the world’s most nutritious foods. There are some health and beauty products that add acai berry as one of the ingredients because of the high antioxidants. Some of the other reasons why people enjoy the acai berry is because it has been known to boost energy levels and decrease fatigue. It can increase metabolism in some people, helping you lose weight.

Is Hydroxycut Safe?

Tuesday, September 8th, 2009

The US FDA has said that hydroxycut causes liver damage and that people should stop taking the weight loss dietary supplement. What I just recently heard was that the company is recalling many of its hydroxycut products from the shelves. Apparently some of the people that were taking hydroxycut were experiencing things like stomach pain, brown urine, nausea, fatigue, vomiting, itching and light-colored stools. I know for sure that if something I was taking were causing those symptoms, I would immediately cease taking the product. Apparently someone died of liver failure while they were taking hydroxycut.

I guess what that tells us is we need to be vigilant about the types of dietary supplements we are taking. We may be experiencing other issues and by adding another type of product, we may exacerbate the original problem. I think maybe we need to try and do things a little bit different, like talking to a nutritionist to find out what we can do to be healthy. Everyone has a very similar makeup, we are covered in skin, have bones and organs that keep us alive. We need to learn the best way to keep those things healthy so we can live a long and productive life.

Copper & Weight Loss

Saturday, September 5th, 2009

Copper maintains enzyme and immune systems; helps keep bones, nerves, and blood vessels healthy. Copper is important when it comes to red blood cell formation. They say that copper may be used to help arthritis. I’m sure you’ve seen or heard about those copper bracelets that are supposed to be worn to help alleviate stiffness and pain. Copper may also help dissolve blood clots, which are considered a cause of heart disease.

Even a small copper deficiency can begin to cause health problems, so it’s important that we try and make sure we are eating foods that contain sufficient amounts of copper. Those who consume moderate amounts of seafood, beans, and leafy greens, or those who use copper cookware probably do not require a copper supplement. However if you don’t get enough foods that contain copper, they say the recommended copper supplement dosage is no more than 2 mg. Apparently, as little as 10 mg of copper can have a toxic effect. If you feel like you may not be getting enough copper, or if you think you might be getting too much, it’s probably a good idea to talk to your doctor.

Xenadrine

Friday, September 4th, 2009

Xenadrine is directed to be taken daily before breakfast, with water, two capsules at a time. Here is a list of ingredients: Tyroplex, Green Tea Extract, Vitamim C, Vitamin B6, Norambrolide, caffeine and polyphenols, Seropro, tyramine and theobromine), Magnesium, Yerba Mate, Guarana, Calcium Tribasic, Pantothenic acid, dl-Methionine, L-Theanine, Ginger Root, Proprietary Thermodyne Complex, Isotherm, DMAE, Grape Seed Extract, Talc, Magnesium Stearate and Gelatin.

It seems to me that there are some pretty healthy items. For example, green tea has been shown to lower “bad” LDL cholesterol, it protects your joints against osteoarthritis, prevents the growth of cancer cells, and provides chemicals that bind estrogen and can help women that have breast cancer.
